| 2003 | Sand in the City "Judges Choice" | |

Ralston Architects continued their winning streak for the third year in a row with this year's entry, "Forks in the Road". Paired with Norm Thompson Outfitters, the team was awarded the 2003 Judge's Choice Award. Their design featured a 6 and a half foot tall car and driver, taking in a maze of fork roads and contemplating their next move. Founded by Mr. Yoshida, Sand in the City is a benefit for Kids on the Block. Sand in the City is a charity group that brings over 70 tons of sand into Pioneer Square in Portland, Oregon. Design teams and companies pair up, and build sand sculptures to raise money for the Kids on the Block program. |

| 2002 | Kows for Kids | |
| Ralston Architects and R&H Construction teamed up with a local artist to design and build a full size cow. These cows were located on sidewalks, parks, and other locations throughout Portland, Oregon. Kows for Kids benefits New Avenues for Youth and Trillium Family Services. New Avenues for Youth is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help homeless teens find permanent housing. Trillium Family Services is a union of three agencies, Children's Farm Home, Waverly Children's Home and Parry Center for Children, who provide comprehensive care to seriously mentally and emotionally disturbed children and their families. | ||
