Hi Hat Restaurant
Tigard, OR
A 10,000 sq. ft. restaurant, lounge
and banquet facility was given a fresh look and contemporary Asian feel,
while still emulating the Chinese tradition of the restaurant. The entry
and dining rooms were given new carpeting, lighting, wall coverings and
fabrics in charcoal, sage green and deep burgundy. The carpet is bold,
dark and textured to add drama to the dining experience. Supplementary
lights with Asian motifs are arranged to set the tone of the dining space,
and light wall coverings with a subtle bamboo pattern contribute to the
crisp and natural feel of the restaurant. Lightly colored fabrics with
a slight sheen and bold pattern complete the mood. The modern Asian spirit
of the interior is continued to the exterior of the restaurant, which
was repainted and extraneous details were removed. New paving and fresh
landscaping finish the look with natural style.
