Convera Portland, OR
The Convera building was a "fit up" project, which involves the reconstruction of interior walls, supports and utilities, and leaves the exterior walls, roof, doors and windows in place. This project adapted the 39,000 sf building to meet the requirements of a new high tech company. Spaces designed as a part of the project included open offices, conference rooms, numerous lab spaces, a raised floor computer and video processing room, and a large breakroom. The project also included the site design for a large stationary multi-beam satellite dish and two smaller steerable satellite dishes. Our interiors department worked on all the finishes throughout the building to produce a clean and integrated finished project. Bright colors on walls and furniture match the energetic environment of the office, while subtle fabric patterns and textures balance the visual display.
