Symantec
American Fork,
UT
In an approximately 37,000 sf office
building, the client wanted to redesign the two-story space to create
a site which was conducive to software development while beginning to
take on the corporate look and feel standards which Symantec is introducing.
In the office space, we were able to give them the necessary lab space
as well as optimize the office space layout. Open office space was divided
into cubes, with group discussion areas incorporated into the layout.
Conference rooms were brought up to current technological standards, allowing
the client to remain in touch with its clients, manufacturers and vendors.
The lobby was designed to meet the client's desired look and feel, and
in the process Ralston Architects was able to begin to create an appealing
corporate identity, that will become the client's standard. Strong use
of color and geometry pervade the greeting and lobby areas, as well as
throughout the rest of the office space. Rich colors in muted tone-on-tone
wall treatments contrast the strong charcoal carpeting, and connect the
separate areas of the building.
